The Administrative Empowerment and its relationship to Organizational Excellence among Heads of Academic departments in Egyptian Universities (Minufia University as Model)

The current research aims at identifying the availability of administrative empowerment and organizational excellence among heads of academic departments in minufia university. It also aims at identify the correlation relationship between administrative empowerment and organizational excellence and the obstacles that hinder achieving them. To achieve the aims of the research, a questionnaire designed by the researcher, has been used. It consists of (99) items divided into three dimensions, the first is administrative empowerment consist of (60) items distributed to four dimensions (Authority delegation, creative behavior development, teamwork, and stimulating workers). The second field is organizational excellence consist of (25) items distributed to five dimensions (Employees Excellence, leaders excellence, organizational chart excellence, organizational culture excellence, strategy excellence the third field obstacles of achieving administrative empowerment and organizational excellence. It consist of (14) items. The research was administered to a sample of (100) heads of the academic department of menoufia university. The result of the research indicate that the dimensions of administrative empowerment and organizational excellence of academic department heads exist to some extent .the results also indicate that dimensions are correlated.
