The aim of the research is to test the validity of the structural model of relationships between the selfie, as an independent variable, and self-esteem and age as two intermediate variables and narcissism as a dependent variable among female university students. The research sample consisted of (704) female students from the Faculty of Humanities, al-Azhar University. The researchers used a set of measures: a selfie scale, prepared by the researchers, the Self-esteem Scale, prepared by El-Deriny et al., and the Narcissism Scale, prepared by the researchers. The study applied the path analysis method. The findings of the study show that: 1- There are good matching indicators between the proposed model and the research sample data. 2- There is a statistically significant direct negative effect of selfie on self-esteem. 3- There is a statistically significant direct negative effect of selfie on age. 4- There is a statistically significant direct positive effect of selfie on narcissism. 5- There is a statistically significant direct negative effect of self-esteem on narcissism. 6- There is no effect of the age variable on narcissism.
