Evaluating the content of the science course for the first intermediate grade in the light of it fulfillment for student’s health needs

The study aimed at identifying the students 'health needs, which should be met in the content of the science course for the first intermediate grade. the analytical descriptive method using the list of students' health needs in the science course for the first intermediate grade. The paragraphs (48) the study (content analysis card) has three areas of Students' health needs; applied to the science course for the first grade intermediate the first and second semester For the academic year 1437/1438. The list of health needs consisted of 48 paragraphs covering three areas that included health awareness in 15 paragraphs. This number represents 31.3% and about 20 items for the field of nutrition culture at 41%) A paragraph for the fitness area (25%). The results showed that the health needs in terms of health culture should be met in the science course for the first intermediate grade. The results showed that they were available in (29) times in 28 lesson of science course for the first intermediate grade, which did not exceed (6.9%). And the results showed that the health needs in terms of the culture of nutrition should be met in the science course for the first grade average is not very satisfied, as the results showed availability in (20) lesson of science courses for the first grade average, which amounted to not more than (3.6%). The study ended with a set of recommendations and suggestions to take advantage of the needs of health awareness in the development plans for the content of science curriculum for the first grade intermediate.
